Sightings of mysterious man apes have been seen for hundreds & hundreds of years starting in North America, spreading to the rest of the American Capital, Canada, China, Russia and even Europe to the point of rare sightings in the United Kingdom. Stories were told back in the old days through Tribes around the globe, sharing their experiences with fellow tribe members on these mysterious and wild man apes. These were the first sightings if you will of these creatures that were soon named Bigfoot. A creature growing up to 6 foot tall and even reports of taller ones, being powerfully built, the strength of a hundred men, yet so silent as it explores it's natural environments. Being able to follow and track human explorers for hours without the humans even knowing they are being watched. 

Bigfoot has so many names, depending where you are standing in the world, Sasquatch in North America, Yeti or Abominable Snowman in the Himalayas, Almas in Russia, Yowie of Australia or Orang Pendek on the island of Sumatra. And this is only the start of the names, so many more names in all the different countries that this beast has been witnessed in. But what really are the witnesses seeing? Are they all, even hunters misidentifying this beast and actually seeing bears standing up or other very similar creatures? Or is this simply a very new breed of creature, the missing link between man and ape. One possible theory on what Bigfoot is, has been concluded that a possible relation to Neanderthal. Whatever their true origin one thing is clear we simply have no clue 100% what they are. One of the best sightings ever recorded which might provide more insight is also the one with the most compelling evidence to date. This incident took place back in 1967.

Back in 1967 in the early afternoon two men Roger Patterson & Robert "Bob" Gimlin were riding through Bluff Creek on horseback on the 20th October. Patterson had become interested in the stories of Bigfoot after reading some articles on the beast, so he thought him and his close friend Bob Gimlin would travel to Six Rivers National Forest in Northern California. Patterson became interested in this area as this was surely a hotspot for the creature especially with all the reports that was flooding in and footprints being found. Gimlin was very doubtful of the existence of this creature but had agreed as long as Patterson would not harm the beast if they found it he would join his friend on the journey. They came across a figure in the distance shortly while at Bluff Creek. Roger took his camera out shooting footage of this creature and it was only few seconds later he jumped off the horse to follow the creature. By this time I believe he knew what this animal was, it was a Bigfoot. During this time the creature turned her torso round to take a glance at Patterson. Before walking off into the distance in the treeline where all visibility of the creature had vanished gently. This piece of footage today is the best piece of evidence believed to be out there, this footage has been reenacted, spoke about in many debates, interviews and analyse of the tape. In doing so the believers out there have noticed that when the creatures turns round you can see her breasts which are visible to all who watch this video. But while this has plenty of truth to it and I am one who believes the authentically of this footage there are them out there today who believe that this tape is a fake and Patterson and Gimlin had made one of the best hoaxes to man. Though to Gimlin today and just before the death of Patterson they both admit they never staged a lie to the public and what they shot on camera was what they actually saw and witnessed on a rare occasion, a large female humanoid creature known as Bigfoot. 

Though this wasn't the last piece of footage taken as down the timeline more pieces of footage has been shared worldwide. From the Skunk Ape footage from Florida to the Redwoods there has been photographs and video regarding this subject to show true genuine creatures living in their habitat they call home. Hopefully one day apart from fakes around the world from certain individuals that the true nature of this amazing real animal will be shown as an existing animal to all of the scientists out there and that Bigfoot will enter the long official list of animals that live beside us all today.
